| RETURNS FROM PRISON MINISTRY IN KENYA |
 |
Dear,Dr.Brunson,
I belive that you had safe journey back home,we are also doing well in the Lord and we do pray for your coming back to kenya.
I do want to tell you about the retuns of the prison you visited and how God is doing great things in prisons. In kapsabet the total No.of inmates are 350, when you visited them and preached the Word of God 270 gave their lives to Jesus and 122 were totaly healed from various deseases and sickneses. In kibos prison out of 962 inmates in kibos main which include condemed prisoners 620 gave their lives to Jesus and more than 300 were healed and five condemed prisoners from kibos have been released from prison and two of them have join us in the church. In annex prison out of 420 inmates 310 gave their lives to Jesus.
Kodiaga prison has got 1370 inmates, annex prison has got 310 inmates and women has got 130 inmates. In main prison 620 gave their lives to Jesus,270 were healed and what supprised me is that when you visited kodiaga prison hosipital the No.of the inmates who were admited in the hosipital were 52,when i went back on 2nd feb.i found only six sick people in the hosipital the rest were healed and were discharged. At that time there were eight patients who were surfering from AIDS five of them were totaly healed and when they were taken back to blood test there was nothing like desease in their blood and what is suprising is that they were not only healed but two of them were released from prison by now we are staying with them in the church for they do not have parents or close relatives, their parents died long time ago.
When i visited kapsabet prison, the officer in-charge,pastor together with some other officers told me to appreciate you together with your team for your kind visitation and the contributins of the drugs that you gave them they do appreciate so much and they welcome you back again in that prison. Also the commanding officers of kibos and kodiaga prisons do appreciate you so much for your visitation and also contribution of drugs, they do welcome you.
Dr.Brunson, what God is doing throgh this ministry is great and i pray that may god expand your teritory and enlarge you boundaries for the name of the Lord to be glorified. What i wanted to put across to you is to see how we can be a help to those who are being released and they dont have a plase where they can go neither do they have people who can welcome them.Like now i have four ex-inmates i need to rent them a house where they can stay to look for what they can eat how they can dress and the rest and i dont have enough money to do all those things, because emediately they come from prison the first person to look is me, they say that we are the people who preched to them and even if i can send them away truly they have no plase to go or anybody who can care for them because some of them have been in the prison for the last 15yrs their parents died long ago and they have no plase to go.I belive that God will hep us to see how we can help this dear ones. Because some of them are skilled in tailoring, carpentry and also in welding so if we can get away to buy them tools and maybe sewing machines, they can just get started and continue with life.
I will stil let you know in any thing that God is doing in this ministry and in prisons.May God richly bless you, your family and your team in Jesus name.
In christ
Ev.Washington.
